Regarding Personal Tax Manager

 

We are rewriting the Personal Tax product this year, amending for the redesign
by HMRC and updating to a .net framework. This is a process that has to be completed
to enable the software to interact with updated operating systems and networks
and to add additional enhanced features in the future, such as content management
and integrated accounts production.

While this will mean that our product remains up to date you will appreciate that the
upgrade will raise the system requirements.

Our products have to be rigorously tested, both to ensure accuracy of calculation and
compatibility with a range of hardware and networks. We will not release our product
until we are satisfied with its performance.

We appreciate your patience and do very much value your custom: however following
a development progress review we anticipate that our product may not be released
by the end of July and that a phased release during late August may be appropriate.
We are also aware that the minimum specifications for the product have risen quite
substantially from last year.

We understand the issues that this may present to you and, while we value your business,
if you find our timescales too lengthy or the minimum requirements are not compatible
with your system we would fully understand if you wished to make alternative arrangements.
